Theatre Bristol Holds August 22 and 23 Auditions for “It's a Wonderful Life” the Musical

Bristol, Tennessee/Virginia, July 2026 – Play a role at Theatre Bristol! Open auditions for “It's a Wonderful Life” the musical auditions are August 22 and 23, at Theatre Bristol, 512 State Street, Bristol TN, with important details at www.theatrebristol.org/audition, including audition times, locations, rehearsal schedules, audition songs, the November/December performance dates, forms, and more than 40 available roles for adults, teens, and children. A free audition workshop is also being offered on August 15 and registration is available at www.theatrebristol.org/tbarts. Based on the beloved film, "It's a Wonderful Life" the musical follows George Bailey’s life from his childhood dreams to his midlife disappointments and beyond, to see whether his life has mattered at all to the residents of Bedford Falls. Cinematically scored and theatrically staged, this adaptation breathes musical life into a familiar story, while retaining the warmth, humor and pathos of the original. A new holiday classic for devotees and newcomers alike by Bruce Greer and Keith Ferguson. (Concord)
Kenn Naegele, veteran director of favorites like Annie, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Oklahoma, Steel Magnolias, and more, directs this classic Christmas favorite. Performances are weekends November and December.
